About Mark Croes
I was born on the beautiful island of Curacao and moved to the Netherlands to study Industrial Design. After completing my education in Interior Design in Miami, Florida, I worked for a large cruise line company where I was assigned projects like casinos, staterooms, restaurants and lounges. Many years after, I decided to proceed my career in land based projects, such as high-rise buildings, hotels and banks.
Throughout my international experiences, I learned a lot about lighting, a very important element in any interior.
When I came back to the Netherlands, I started designing lamps in different shapes and forms. My biggest inspiration is the beautiful tulip flower that is this country's most famous symbol.
I want to create a lamp that is not just a product but also represents beauty during the day.
